IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

• Steward: Toni Burns
• Parking is available in the Tower City Lot: 956 Canal Rd., Cleveland, OH 44113. Bring your parking ticket with you to the Arena. They will validate it for you (please read through the details found HERE). NOTE: We’ve heard from a lot of people that this lot is more trouble than it’s worth. Please consider finding parking on your own.
• Leave yourselves plenty of time to park and walk to the arena. If possible, use public transportation, Uber/Lyft, get a ride, et cetera.
• There is an Team Member Entrance on the Southwest side of the arena (next to the Gateway South doors), where you will go thru security. Once you get in you will come down three flights of stairs and check-in with Toni Burns (or the Acting Steward) at the desk.
• ALWAYS check in & out with your Steward. Not doing so could result in a failure to be paid or payroll issues.
• THOSE WHO HAVE NOT WORKED FOR THE CLE CAVALIERS BEFORE (or have not worked for them in over a year) should arrive early to complete payroll paperwork: bring two (2) forms of ID to complete the IRS Form I-9. Click HERE for the Cavaliers payroll packet. Feel free to print it out and complete everything to bring with you. You will still need to bring IDs with you onsite.
• You must be eighteen (18) years of age to work these events.
• If possible, bring a crescent wrench (8") & work gloves. Work boots are not required, but recommended.
• Current hourly Stagehand rate is $33.55 per hour / Rigging Rate is $38.55 (four hour minimum). Performance Rate is $128.25.
• Any call which begins between the hours of Midnight and 7:50AM shall be at double time for all hours worked until 8:00AM, and at straight time thereafter. The double time rate shall not apply to the carryout.
• Keep track of your hours: dates, start time / end time, meal breaks, etc.
• Paper checks are no longer an option. You are required to sign up for direct deposit OR a “rapid pay” card. Instructions for accessing the Cavaliers payroll portal can be found HERE. Please note, you will not be able to access the portal until you've been issued a paycheck.
